Frequent Questions

How do the blood tests work?

Once you have ordered and received the test, you can start taking samples. Please read the instructions carefully beforehand. This post has more information and a helpful video.

What happens after I send in my sample?

Follow the simple steps in the kit to take your sample, and pack it in a secure box and special envelope. It can then be sent by regular mail, which is already paid for with the test order. Your sample will then be analyzed in our CLIA-certified partner lab.

In your individual results report, your test result will be clearly presented and explained. You can learn more here.

How long do I have to wait for my test result?

You'll receive an email once the sample arrives at our Lab. After that, on average, it takes a few business days for your result to be available online.

Typically, you should get your results within 1 week of sending the sample, but the timeframe can vary depending on what day you put the sample in the mail.
